In the years since, I have moved through many spiritual traditions of East and West, and immersed myself in diverse modalities: meditation, energy work, the foundations of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, nervous system recoding, energy and somatic healing, heart coherence, plant medicine, among others.... Each one revealed an aspect of the rich and complex tapestry of being human.

But the true test of my spirituality has been motherhood.

As a new mother, I had to dig deep to process the overwhelming weight of new responsibility while coping with postpartum health issues and trying to anchor an ever-fleeting sense of self. It was an unexpectedly arduous journey. None of what I had previously learned or explored seemed adequate anymore. The teachings and frameworks I had relied on became suddenly obsolete.
